Book Puppy Microchipping
Puppy Microchipping
From puppy microchipping to ferrets and cats, keep your pet safe by booking microchipping. We also offer a mobile service, please contact us or call 07813 664608 to arrange.
Puppy microchipping is a legal requirement. All puppies must be microchipped by the age of eight weeks under , unless exempt under The Microchipping of Dogs (Wales) Regulations 2015. The breeder should be the first registered keeper registered on an approved database, such as the Animal Tracker database that we use at Dragon Lab & Canine Services.
If your pet goes missing, you should report it to the database to which its microchip is registered. If it is a dog, you should also contact your Local Authority’s dog warden. It is also worth notifying local vets, animal hospitals, rehoming centres, registering your dog on missing pet websites and putting up notices. Be aware that dogs can wander some distance if lost. You could also leave the owners clothing or a blanket n the area the dog was last seen, in the hope they return
